My NASA Data has recently released several new resources, StoryMaps, for use in educational settings.

Exploring salinity patterns is a great way to better understand the relationships between the water cycle, ocean circulation, and climate. The Earth System Satellite Images, along with the Data Literacy Cubes, helps the learner identify patterns in a specific image.  

The activities in this guide will help students understand variations in environmental parameters by examining connections among different phenomena measured on local, regional and global scales.

Students will use coloring sheets to create a color coded model of El Niño, then make comparisons using the actual model by answering questions. If the Data Literacy Map Cube is used with this, students will color their models first.
