List of all Atmosphere GLOBE Connections

The characters in the Elementary GLOBE storybooks explore the world around them collecting measurements and making observations. Through a variety of learning activities, students can collect weather data to observe changes that occur with the seasons.

Interested in collecting data about the featured phenomenon at your school?  Visit this page to explore GLOBE protocols (data collection procedures) and student datasheets that support your students' investigations.

Each of the GLOBE protocols has a set of learning activities to help students learn more about the instruments and procedures for the measurements, the content associated with the protocol and ways students and scientists can use the data that is being collected.

Tropical cyclones, or hurricanes, are severe weather events that can be very destructive and even deadly. GLOBE students can make measurements before and after these storms to help study the impacts. It is not safe to make measurements during a storm.
