Product Review Team

NASA’s My NASA Data project seeks formal classroom teacher volunteers to product test and review lessons and educational products as part of the My NASA Data Product Review Team. In this process, volunteers are expected to engage students in hands-on experiences with our NASA products and report on experiences to NASA for continuous improvement. My NASA Data believes that testing and feedback on NASA education resources produce high-quality resources for teachers and students.

Data Visualization User Working Group

Members of this group will provide feedback on the My NASA Data Earth System Data Explorer, our data visualization tool, for use in lesson planning or with students. In this process, volunteers are expected to use the My NASA Data Earth Systems Data Explorer and provide feedback on the user interface ensuring the tool is intuitive and accessible for users of varying technical backgrounds as well as providing feedback on your experience, identifying any gaps or areas for enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • A licensed elementary, middle, or high school teacher in the United States
  • Currently teaching in a public or private school 

What are the commitments for the 2025-2026 school year?

  • Attend five scheduled meetings at 7pm ET throughout the school year.
  • Implement My NASA Data resources in your classroom instruction with students.
  • Document your experience with the resource via an online form.
  • Complete 5 detailed reviews of implemented resources.
