“Ask US” December 2015 Session: Thursday, Dec. 10th 2015 – 12:00-1:15pm AK/4:00-5:15pm ET

Register today to join NASA and NOAA education specialists and the 3rd National Climate Assessment (NCA3) Co-convening Lead Author Dr. John Walsh to explore change over time through changes in hurricanes. The event will be held Thursday December 10th, 2015 12:00-1:15pm AK (Alaskan)/ 4:00-5:15 EST. The NCA3, released in May of 2014, summarizes the impacts of climate change on the United States, touching on many disciplines: Earth science, biology, human health, engineering, technology, economics, and policy. The focus this month will be on the Our Changing Climate Chapter, specifically on Key Message #8, Changes in Hurricanes. Take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions about the science behind the report and related learning resources. Discover how to bring the NCA to life for learners of all ages.
