MY NASA DATA has established an e-Mentor Network -- a distributed network in which people can sign up as mentors, or they can use our website to ask a question.

To ask a question, students or teachers may simply click on our Ask a Mentor link.

Once submitted, questions will be reviewed by the MY NASA DATA team. Valid questions will be sent by email to all Mentor Network participants. Individuals on the Mentor Network (which will include the MY NASA DATA team) will have the option of replying with an answer to the question.

The reply (with basic screening from the team) will be sent back to the asker and also posted on our FAQ page. More than one reply may be posted to a given question, if several mentors offer complementary responses.

Questions can be either scientific or pedagogical in nature. Thus we hope to engage a broad range of participants in the Mentor Network, including practicing teachers. Participants are also encouraged to contribute lesson plans and project ideas that relate to using NASA data.
