Greetings MY NASA DATA Alumni and Newslist members! The monthly E-note is sent to anyone who is interested in learning more about or keeping up to date with the MY NASA DATA project. If you know someone who is interested in this information, the sign-up can be found at: http://eosweb.larc.nasa.gov/HPDOCS/email_registration.html 1) New Lessons posted Another great lesson has been added to the Teacher Plans collection: Lesson #26 "Using Vegetation, Precipitation, and Surface Temperature to Study Climate Zones" by Krista L. Gerhardt. Krista is a MY NASA DATA Summer Workshop 2005 alumnus from Huber Heights, OH. Team Lesson I "El Nino Lesson" has been added to the Team Lesson Plans page. This lesson was developed in response to your suggestions and requests, so keep sending us your ideas! 2) Science Projects Take a look at the two new project topics on the Project Ideas page http://mynasadata.larc.nasa.gov/science_projects.php: Dust Observation (Beginner and Advanced) and Sky Color ("Sky Color for Kids" and "What Color is Your Sky?") Remember that we would like to read about your students' research projects. Consider submitting them for possible posting! If you have ideas for additional projects, please let us know. 3) Question of the Month What is your opinion of the layout of the MY NASA DATA website? Do you find it easy/hard to locate things? Do you find it easy/confusing to navigate through the different sections? Other comments? E-mail us your thoughts!
